The heavy trucks in EU will be taxed for air- fouling and making noise, announces EUobserver.com. Until now the trucks are taxable only for road- ruining; and the freighters are not excisable with taxes that are higher than the expenditures for the road maintenance. The new taxes will be not obligatory for the countries- members of the European Union.

The Hungarian association of the international forwarders announced that the bridge over Danube from the Slovakian side is damaged because of the flooding rains. Accordingly to this, the passing of vehicles, heavier than 3.5 tones is forbidden until the end of the reconstruction activities. The border points Vamoshabady or Comarom can be used as alternative routes.
